Functional objectives of NEP 2020 ( Bengal)

11th April, 2023

An independent investigation was conducted by Astrit during the Bengal Global Trade Expo 2022.

The report explores student response to the current Indian Education system, specifically learning and teaching styles that students have been exposed to for a while.

Specific parameters such as student #agency and #perceived #competence with different facets of their education program/experience have been investigated to assess student #engagement with the #Indian Education system.
Findings from the report serve as #recommendations to build on specific skill sets that students may have found challenging or perceive to have low confidence in. These skill sets are highly valued by employers around the world and therefore the report makes a strong case for #upskilling current students.
We are aware that the Indian education space is currently undergoing many changes and wanted to conduct an independent survey to validate and confirm national trends with those of #Eastern India.
This report is uniquely positioned to inform policymakers and education institutes on student perceptions about their academic experience in Eastern India, with an emphasis on #Bengal. It paves a new pathway for implementing the functional objectives of the #NEP2020 as it goes through several iterations.
